Westerham, England — Review Display Systems Ltd. offers a full range of NEC sunlight readable TFT displays, along with complete driver solutions.
The TFT displays feature NEC's unique Natural Light Technology, which is said to enhance the backlight's efficiency and minimize surface reflection of ambient lighting. This results in a transmissive display that produces high-contrast images even in bright outdoor environments, said the company. The wide color reproduction range also makes this technology a suitable choice for video camera, ATM, POS and GPS navigation applications.
The 5.5-inch QVGA (NL3224BC35-22), 6.5-inch VGA (NL6448BC20-14) and 12.1-inch SVGA (NL8060BC31-32) displays are available in volume production. Samples are available for the 8.4-inch SVGA display (NL8060BC21-03), and the 6.5-inch (compact) VGA display (NL6448BC20-20) will be available soon. Other sizes and resolutions are planned for the future.
Review Display Systems also sells a wide range of interface boards, enabling the panels to be driven via a VGA, DVI or video source. A range of single-board-computer products are also available to directly drive the panels.
